Lilttle Moments

I have to share something that happened the other night that is the start of something great.  Jackson, Lily and I were just hanging out in my bedroom and I was getting ready to put them to bed.  Jacks started jumping on the bed (something that I don't usually let him do) but he caught Lily's attention and she started smiling at him.  Jack was jumping a few times and then landing on his behind.  When he started doing that Lily let out a little laugh and Jackson stopped jumping and stared at her with this amazed and happy look on his face.  He pointed at her mouth and said "eely!" (Lily)  He started jumping again and she started laughing harder, which made him laugh really hard.  He got really excited and wanted to keep her laughing.  I started laughing a few times and Jackson would put his hand on my shoulder and say "No, mama."

It was so awesome to see them interacting like that. Lily has laughed before but never this hard, and she never stopped smiling.  After a while she got a little tired of it and I was puting her to bed but Jackson kept protesting and saying "No eely, no!" Because he wanted her to stay up and laugh at him some more.  Since then we've had one other 'magic' moment that he was doing something silly and made her laugh again.

This really is the start of something good, I am so excited for when they can sit and play and laugh together.  Jackson tries to share his trains with her but she can't hold on to them really well.

In other news:
Jackson found a new favorite game.  I'll give him a cup with water in it on the floor and a few empty cups and he just poors the water back and forth into the cups.  Eventually all the water ends up on the floor but it's an easy clean up and it keeps him entertained for a long time.

Lily has a tooth and another one is growing in!  She can sit up by herself for a few minutes as long as she's not too wiggly.  She is making lots of noises and talks to herself a lot when she wakes up in the morning.  She is eating rice cereal and tried an avocado!  She doesn't eat well if I try to feed her, but if someone else feeds her she just slurps it down.

Chris has added a lot of pictures of our cute kids! I'm so glad he takes a lot of them.
