The Zoo

Well, we're finally updated the blog after 4+ months.  Sorry for taking so long.

We decided to go to the zoo on Saturday down in Salt Lake.  We had never been and thought it would be really fun for the kids, which it was, but by the very end I think we were all exhausted.  I didn't know it could be such a workout just to watch animals.  It was real fun for me though as I hadn't seen a lot of these animals up close before.  Lily's favorite was watching these little monkeys flying around their encasement.  I loved the fact she was holding her own monkey the whole time too.  

We decided to go to the bird show yesterday as well and that was lots of fun.  Our biggest problem was getting Jacks to hold still.  But he was calm at least when the birds were flying overhead.

On a side note, I for some reason had a really tough time taking photos yesterday.  I was out of focus on at least 50% of my shots.  Maybe I was just tired and didn't pay close enough attention.
