About 1 or 2 months ago we were invited to go to an indoor carnival for some family support group and decided to take the kids knowing that Jackson would probably love playing the games. It was just an OK event. They had maybe 8 activities that kids could do but 10 minutes in to it all they stopped everyone and had a "speaker" talk to everyone for what felt like a half hour. My only question is "why?" And I really question why they would do anything like that since there were so many kids. And now all of them would have to sit there and listen. Any of you that have kids would know that this is a dumb idea since all the kids are going to be thinking about is the game that they could be playing RIGHT NOW! We nearly got up and left because of it.
However, all in all, we were able to play a few games such as bowling and musical chairs (kind of) and throwing a ball in a cup, which was the only thing lily knew how to do.
Anyway, it was still a fun experience and we're glad we were able to take the kids.
