Getting ready for Xmas

Chris: Well It's almost that time of the year... We decided over Thanksgiving weekend that we would put up the Christmas Tree and all of grandma's ornaments, as weird as they may seem. The last three pictures have nothing to do with everything else. Lily and I were playing around the other day and she wouldn't stop looking at me so I had to start taking a few pictures of her.

Addie: Like Chris said most of the ornaments on our tree are from Kathy's mom, Maxine. I absolutely love them and I think they all tell a lot about her. She was so creative and paid a lot of attention to detail. There are some red balls that are all decorated differently and I can only imagine the time it took her to finish each one. Each one is perfect in its own design. She made snowflakes out of string, you can see a few on the big picture of the tree. These are also all different and beautiful. There are all sorts of ornaments and each year we seem to find a new one in the big box she gave us. Last year Chris found all these white doves that I hadn't seen before, and this year we found these thick white papers that folded out into the bell at the top of the tree.
