Wrestling

Last night Jacks and Lily were wrestling. It was so funny to watch.  Lily would crawl over to Jackson and try to get his face, he would give her a hug and then fall backwards holding her (they were on his bed - thankfully) and then roll over a little bit.  She would fight to get away from him with a little help from me, and then go back for more.  Jackson kept saying, "Lily fun!" and they were both laughing.
Today I took the kids on a walk to deliver some invitations for our ward day of service on Saturday. When we got back to our house Lily started crying and when I looked down I saw Jackson biting one of her fingers. AH! The poor thing, there is a little bruise on her tiny nail. Jacks went to time out and I held my crying baby.  When Jackson was done in time out he went up to Lily to say sorry. As soon as she saw him her eyes lit up and she had a huge grin on her face. Goal: Forgive like Lily.

My mom is heading up potty training efforts with Jackson. Today she was able to get him to put on real underwear! He has refused to wear them until today. Thanks mom! Even though she dealt with two accidents this afternoon she's still so happy and unruffled.  Jackson even asked to go potty on the toilet before bed. Huge success even if he didn't actually go.
Is it funny to anyone else that potty training is such an acceptable topic of conversation? Sorry, future Jackson, for sharing your potty stories with all the world. I love you, and someday when you're a parent you will probably do the same thing with your kids.

Black Pearl has half off their Sushi right now - I had some today and it was super yummy.
