#4 Oh Toodles!

I love my family! Just wanted to throw that out there to start things off.

Addie: On Tuesday I will be 27 years old.  Depending on who you ask, that's old, and I am one of those people. I still feel like I should be 21.  This week I want to reflect on what I've accomplished in my 27 years, and also decide on some things I want to do this year. (My version of new years resolutions, just a couple months late)  We've already celebrated my birthday and it has been a fun weekend.  Friday we went to the temple and then it was dinner out with my side of the family (pizza pie cafe - SO good, I love that place) and today Shelley, Jon, Kayleen & William came over for dinner.  It's a long trek from West Point for one afternoon, and I'm thankful that they came.     Love you all!!  I'm a very lucky girl.

Lily:  One year ago we found out (with the ultrasound) that Lily was a girl! I was pretty positive she was a girl anyway so it was great to have it confirmed.  We finally got Lily in to the doctor to see if there was a reason for her cough lasting a month.  There wasn't anything terribly wrong but he gave us an antibiotic to see if it would help clear up her sinuses.  It seems to be helping, at least she isn't coughing so much at night.  She is babbling a lot now. She mostly says "dada" and of course Chris melts for it every time.  It's okay, I would, too.

Jackson: Background story: On Mickey Mouse Clubhouse there is a character called Toodles that Mickey and his friends call for during the show.  Mickey (or whoever) will say "Everybody say, ' Oh Toodles!' " and then everyone says it.  Now for our story: Jackson goes to time out when he is does something he shouldn't and after one time out Chris asked Jackson, "Now what do you say?" and Jacks answered "Everybody say, 'Oh Toodles!' " I tried not to laugh but it was hard to hold back. We're trying to teach him that's where you say sorry, but he has Mickey engrained in his mind right now. Jack likes it when daddy puts him to bed because he gets to cuddle.  They'll read a few stories and then Chris asks if he wants to cuddle and then he falls asleep.

Chris: has been trying out the Windows 8 beta. He always seems to get all the newest technology super fast, I didn't even know they were making a Windows 8.  His irregular heart beat came back this week, it left after a lot of physical activity, now it's just getting back in to working out which is hard to get started on.

We are thankful for our work schedules.  I don't have to go in until 9:30 and Chris doesn't have to be there until 11:30 so we always have the mornings together.  I can get up and ready, feed and get Lily ready and make some breakfast for Jacks, and Chris can take it easy until I leave.
